This one-day course provides information on the principles of operation of motors and motor components, and the AC/DC theory of operation, including torque, pullout torque and slip. Attendees will learn how a variable-speed drive controls the speed and direction of an attached motor. You will also become familiar with the drive’s Human Interface Module (HIM), which allows programmers, maintainers, and troubleshooters access to information stored within the drive.

- To recognize AC and DC motor braking methods
- Develop a basic understanding of AC and DC motor and drive concepts and terminology
Registrants must cancel five business days prior to the first day of the event/training. Registrations that are cancelled less than 5 business days before the event/training are liable for 100% of the fee. Substitutions are allowed prior to the start of the event/training. If you do not attend your registered event/training there will be no refunds or substitutions. We cannot accept payment at the event/training.
